Business Intelligence (BI) Delivery department is committed to following the enterprise architecture standards and delivering innovative solutions with trusted data and analytics that support strategic and tactical decisions to drive the future direction of Bridgestone Americas (BSA). Data Warehousing (SAP BW on Hana, Teradata, SQL Server) and BI Reporting (BOBJ and Tableau) are two BI Delivery subteams working together. BI Delivery Team works closely with BI Support Team and BI Enterprise Architect.
The current Business Warehouse (BW) Group consists of BW Lead and four BW developers. One of BW developers is on BI Support Team, but still very much part of the BW group.
BW Developer Position is responsible for providing reliable, standards-based software developments that deliver new capabilities to BSA end users. This position will also assist with BW operational support.

Responsibilities:
This position will leverage knowledge of SAP BW modeling and ECC data. Specific responsibilities include:
- Creatively design solutions with Finance, Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Inventory management partners that best meet the needs of the business.
- Provide support to key business users in the validation of data.
- Follow BW best practices and standards.
- Analyze and configure BW data models and application platform to improve performance and supportability.
- Develop BW structures and support for ETL processes for data feeds into and out of SAP BW.
- Build Quality through maintenance of compliance to all regulatory requirements.
- Work with the business analysts to ensure requirements are completely understood and solution is built to meet business needs.
- Assist with BW operational support, including performance tuning, clean-up after batch failures, investigation of end-user reported issues.
- Perform BW development support, including debugging, ABAP code maintenance, unit testing, change management, and promote to production methodology.
- Create procedural documentation such as process flow diagrams, technical designs, job aids and any other reference materials to support cross-training and knowledge sharing with peers.
- Provide ongoing user assistance and communication to support business reporting solutions.
- Partner with or lead internal and external technical resources.
- Consistently follow a defined system development life cycle methodology.
- Provide expertise with developing solutions that will meet all the business and organizational needs.
- Assist with the production of training materials
- Prepare and deliver training materials to business users and peers
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree plus 3-5 years of Business Intelligence experience.
- Experience with SAP Business Warehouse 7.0-7.4.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of SAP ECC data models.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with a strong proactive work ethic.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and data accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience with data modeling using SAP BW running on SAP HANA.
- Experience with multiple SAP ECC source systems, and consolidation of reporting across multiple SAP BW systems.
- Experience in an automotive manufacturing organization.
- Experience with multiple end-user analytical technologies such as Business Objects, Tableau, Lumira.
