As part of 3M’s global eTransformation initiative, the Asia Digital & eCommerce Team has an exciting opportunity for an eBusiness Analytics Manager. You are passionate about data & analytics, and the role these play to drive eCommerce sales success. You are responsible for managing the data-driven analytical process and providing actionable eCommerce insights to the organization to optimize and drive revenue and profit growth. This position will serve as the key eCommerce analytics support for the regional and in-country teams. You are expected to contribute to the improvement of the digital programs to increase eCommerce sales. Your responsibilities include:
- Extract, manipulate and interpret data from various sources, including customer data management system, order management system, and web analytics to produce detailed reports and analysis to support eCommerce & demand generation efforts
- Collect & analyze metrics associated with pricing, POS performance, site traffic, conversions, promotions, ratings & reviews and digital marketing programs
- Develop statistical, predictive modeling utilizing structured and unstructured data
- Oversee and deliver KPI reporting and analysis of eCommerce performance on a regional and country level
- Apply data analysis and data modelling techniques to establish trends and forecasts
- Participate and support the development, execution and evolution of the organization’s eCommerce strategy, including prioritization of initiatives driven by data intelligence
- Mine complex data sets to provide actionable insights via reporting and effective visualizations
- Educate our in-market teams on the value & importance of analytics and share best practices
- Create management dashboards to enable the monitoring of key eBusiness metrics in a clear manner, while driving urgency and action
- Monitor eCommerce sales trends and elevate issues due to data variances
- Assist in the identification of new reports or data needs to support the eCommerce acceleration efforts
- Analyze eCommerce customer behaviors, through both eMarketing and onsite interactions and provide insights for optimization
- Support global, regional & in-country teams with specific analysis related to Asia, prior to business reviews
- Constantly improve methodologies and dashboards to refine the insights
Desired Skills and Experience
- MBA or advanced degree in mathematics, statistics, econometrics or similar analytics discipline
- Six years or more of relevant analytics experience in a retail or transactional eCommerce environment
- Strong systems skills including Excel, business intelligence systems (i.e. Qlikview, Tableau), statistical analysis packages (i.e. SPSS), Google Analytics, WebTrends, Salesforce
- Ability to support and work well in cross-functional teams, managing multiple projects at once
- Passion for improving your own knowledge and skills and keeping up-to-date with advanced analytics trends
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with proven success building relationships across all levels, internally and externally, including influencing senior decision makers throughout the organization
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills to convey complex analysis to non-experts
- Proficiency in an Asian languages is a plus
