Technical Project Manager, Reporting & Analytics Apple - Singapore, SG

This is a technical project management role that sits within Apple’s Pacific Reporting & Analytics Unit based in Singapore.
This team ensures that projects are delivered on time and on budget, through managing business requirements, project plans and resources to achieve the best possible outcomes. Successful candidate for the role will need to be an experienced, results-oriented project manager who has a track record of success in reporting, business intelligence, analytics and application development.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is an in the Supply Chain and Logistics expert at personally delivering complex software development / engineering projects and who is equally comfortable with waterfall and agile / iterative approaches. It involves managing and working with regional and global cross functional teams.

Description
Manage all aspects of a project including planning, resourcing, analysis, design, implementation, documentation, status reporting, risk management, change management and post implementation review.
Work closely with business teams, providing thought leadership on the direction and scope of their initiatives in addition to providing a clear view of project progress, resource and budget utilisation.
Keep close tabs on the current trends and emerging opportunities coming out of China, with an eye to bringing ideas and concepts into view of the regional teams.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify new ideas, define requirements, create projects; and assist in securing the appropriate budgets and resources required to deliver them successfully.
Drive assigned projects and taking ownership for their success – both in terms of project delivery and business outcomes.
Act as a positive ambassador for the Pacific Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) function and always adhering to Apple’s Business Conduct guidelines, IS&T principles and standards.

Education DetailsMinimum Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline.

Key Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with proven track records in data warehousing, data modelling, business intelligence & analytics; working with technologies like Teradata, Oracle, Hadoop, Verticas, SAP HANA, Business Objects and visualisation tools like Tableau, SAP Lumira, etc.
A strong project manager who can manage a portfolio of complex, fast moving projects in a dynamic environment where requirements and the business environment can change rapidly.
A financially astute individual that has proven history managing budgets and resources within a complex and cross functional project environment.
A natural problem-solver who demonstrates a sense of urgency, and who is willing and able to push hard to ensure their objectives are achieved, whilst maintaining excellent relationships with multiple stakeholders.
Skilled in building and maintaining strong relationships beyond the technology community to work effectively with non-technical business contacts, dealing with people in different time zones, from different cultural backgrounds and with different objectives.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to non-technical audiences and the ability to speak authoritatively and confidently in high-pressured situations and environments.
Meticulous attention to detail and a tight focus on excellence, ensuring the highest possible standards at all time in support of Apple’s values.
Prior exposure to working on China related projects and understanding of the complexities of doing business in China, will be an advantage.
Fluent in English and Mandarin.
CAPM, PMP or Agile Scrum Master Certification (Desirable)
