Regional IT Support Manager (Asia), SAP systems
General Information
Job Title: Regional IT Manager
Department: IT department
Reporting Line: East Asia IT Management and IT management in Germany
Full/Part/Temporary: Full time
Job Objective
The position is the main contact points for all IT related matters and issues.
Daily related issues from the Asian sales affiliates shall be communicated and reported to the Asian IT manager.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure IT operational functions in corporation with the IT HQ
• Coordinate, improve and assist with first and second level support within the Asian affiliates
• Project management/coordinator for all IT projects in Aisa
• Coordination of education/training in the field of software/hardware usages as well IT process topics of all the employees
• Ensure IT governance
• Budget responsibility and planning of costs
• Manage all IT employees in the Asian region
Additional Requirements
Infrastructure
• Basic knowledge of Thema Lan, Wan, and firewalls are a must.
• Initiation of changes/administration is not required in this function.
Network Services DHCP / Active Directories
• Basic knowledge is required.
• Limited changes and administration are to be carried out.
Server operation of Windows Citrix.
• Basic knowledge of Tema Windows Server and Citrix are required.
• Initiations of changes/administration are not required.
Windows front-end operating system including software distribution, front end security, etc
• Basic knowledge is required
• Initiations of changes/administration are not required.
Lotus Notes
• Knowledge not requires as can be obtained during training
Phone System
• Knowledge not required, can be obtained during training
SAP
• Knowledge and experience in the modules SD, MM, WM and PP are required.
• Solution provider for first and second level tickets.
• Local point of contact for process questions and optimization.
Project Management
• Experience and knowledge in Project Management is required.
• Project implementation in co-corporation with the local affiliates and Head Quarter.
• Programming skills are not required.
Internet
• Basic knowledge is required.
Personal Attributes
• At least 8 years of Asian working experience preferably from a MNC
• Proven leadership skills
• Excellent English communication skills both verbally and written
• Adaptable and open to different cultures
• Team work is must
• Low profile attitude and status are required in this role as well as always putting your team in front of you
Special Working Conditions
• Traveling required in the Asian region one week a month.
• Traveling to HQ in Germany shall be expected ones to twice a year
