Cognizant Technology Solutions is seeking a “ Sr SAP BODS Consultant “; the resource should have strong experience in SAP BODS, BW,ECC, We are looking for a skilled and experienced Sr .SAP BODS Consultant to join our team of IT professionals in a permanent role. Job Summary: 

The candidate would be working in SAP Data Services(DS) & Information Steward(IS) projects. Expected to work independently or with teams on design of complex ETL flows and Data Quality jobs. 

Will be required to work in data warehousing, migration & integration scenarios in SAP as well as non-SAP environments. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Profiling various information systems, capture source/target mappings and transformations based on project requirements
• Designing complex SAP Data Services job flows to extract from/load to SAP systems such as SAP ECC, CRM, SCM, BW, HANA as well as non-SAP systems such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, Teradata
• Experience with DI transforms such as Query, Validation, Case transforms as well as DQ transforms such as Match, Associate, Data Cleanse & Address Cleanse
• Tuning jobs for high volume and complex transformation scenarios
• Configuring DS components including job server and repositories
• Setting up DS data stores to connect to variety of data sources such as SAP HANA, SAP R/3, SAP BW, Oracle, MS SQL Server , Teradata
• Develop jobs to extract data from SAP Extractors & Tables, SAP BW DSOs, load to BW PSA
• Automation of DS/IS jobs using in-built and third party schedulers
• Developing and executing advanced data profiling, data validation scenarios
• Building IS scorecards and custom Business Objects reports for Data Quality reporting
• Preparing ETL technical design documents
• Working independently, conduct assessments and meetings with client on SAP DS/IS capabilities
• Working on new initiatives and features. Developing case studies

Minimum Qualifications: 

• 7 years of experience in SAP Data Services (3.2/4.0 onwards)
• 2 years of experience in SAP related projects
• Working experience or knowledge of SAP Information Steward (Rules development, Profiling Rules development, Scorecard setup and basic IS administration)
• At least 2 end to end DS implementations/1 IS implementation
• Knowledge of relational and dimensional modeling
• SQL programming
• Understanding of Data quality / DQ Health Monitoring concepts, having flair for data analytical and reasoning skills
• Self-starter with innovative mind set to leverage all organizational facilities to learn newer technologies independently, help build prototypes, engage in skillset training to others
• Experienced in onsite-offshore model

Desired additional qualifications : 

• Working experience in SAP DS/IS installation and configuration on linux/windows servers
• Experience in Data migration projects
• Knowledge of Hadoop, Hive, Pig; BODS Hadoop integration
• Working experience in Real time job setup
• Experience in SAP HANA - Data provisioning and modeling
• Knowledge of BO reporting tools like Information Design Tool, Web Intelligence, Lumira
• SAP certified
